Anya Taylor-Joy

The birth of Anya Taylor-Joy took place the 16th of April, 1996 in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker. Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychology. Her father was an Argentine with Scottish and English roots. Her mother comes from Spanish as well as English heritage. The Taylor-Joy family was a clan of six children. Four of them are siblings from the previous marriage to Taylor's dad. The family resided within Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy was 6 years old, after which they moved to the Victoria district in London. Taylor-Joy stated that the move had been difficult and that she was unable to pursue a degree in English because she hoped to return to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school after she changed schools from Northlands. She then enrolled at Queen's Gate School, where she took dance classes and appeared in productions. When she reached the age of 16, Taylor-Joy dropped out to pursue a full-time acting profession. Taylor-Joy's desire to be an actor began in the early years of her life. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the first one to hire her as an experienced model.
