Nicky Whelan (born 10 May 1981) is an Australian model and actress. The first time she was known, she was Pepper Steiger in Australia. The role she played in the 100 episodes of the soap show Neighbors broadcasted between 2006 and 2007 made her a household name in Australia. The actress made her Hollywood debut in two different projects. The first one was Hollywood & Wine which was a comedy choral project in which she played an aspiring young actor. Then by landing a recurring role in the ninth season of Scrubs which portrayed Maya the very hot medical student. The show is then abruptly ended. Then, she went on to shoot a Farrelly brothers ' comedy known as Good To Shoot, which was co-starred by Jason Sudeikis as well as Owen Wilson. Thereafter the actress appeared in short series films, as well as B-series films. It was in 2013 that she began to be exposed in a greater way. After having appeared in six episodes of the crime drama Franklin and Bash and landing her first part on the regular cast of the web series Chosen which starred Milo Ventimiglia, the actress was offered a variety of roles.
