Anne Marie Tiernon started her career working at WMBD-TV 31 Peoria Illinois in 1989. Then, in 1991, she moved to Indianapolis and began anchoring her own CBS affiliate WISH-TV 5:30 pm newscast alongside Scott Swan. She also worked as a reporter on the WISH-TV 11pm newscast. Tiernon worked at WLWT-TV Cincinnati Ohio, as an anchor and journalist from 2000-2004. Tiernon anchored the newscasts for WLWT-TV Cincinnati Ohio's 5, 6, as well as 11 p.m. alongside veteran anchor Dave Wagner.
